Tuesday, Oct. 2, marks the one-year anniversary of Tom Petty's death. Members of the prolific musician's family and longtime band have spent much of the past year listening to his early and unreleased recordings. Wanting to mark the occasion, Dana Petty, wife of the late musician, and Benmont Tench, Petty's longtime keyboardist, started combing through the rock star's vault.

It's Space Coast Pride's 11th Year!

The festival and parade will take place on Highland Avenue in the historic Eau Gallie Arts District and inside the Civic Center featuring our newly retooled Expo Hall of vendors.

The festival features live music, vendors, entertainment, food and beverages, a kid's zone and plenty more! This entire event is free and open to the public and great for all ages.

PUBLIC ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND
8 P.M. DISPLAY ON OLIN QUAD

Children registering for school in Florida this year were asked to reveal some history about their mental health.

The new requirement is part of a law rushed through the state legislature after the February shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
