International Coastal Cleanup Day (ICCD), taking place on Saturday September 15, is one of the world's largest annual preservation and protection events and volunteer efforts for our ocean, waves and beaches.

It is a global movement that encompasses 6 million volunteers in 90 countries and across the United States. The cumulative result is not only a cleaner and healthier coastline but also a raised consciousness for accessible actions people can integrate into their lives to promote healthy beaches on a daily basis.

Nathan Thorpe recently had a very unexpected health issue pop up that sent his body into sepsis shock. A lengthy hospital stay and slow recovery are rendering him unable to work. We are hosting a fundraiser for him in an effort to raise some funds to help him get back on his feet. Nathan has made a HUGE impact on everyone that has found their way into his life and Open Mike’s WOULD NOT be what we are today without Nathan’s energy and outlook on life.
