Rose attended Orange Coast Community College in Costa Mesa, California and earned her bachelor’s degree in English at Sonoma State University in 1976.

WFIT is an integral and rewarding part of Rose’s life in Florida.  She is deeply proud of her position with this National Public Radio affiliate.  Rose takes great pleasure in assisting non-profit organizations promote their philanthropic and cultural missions.  Most rewarding is working alongside the tight knit and creative community of the WFIT staff and volunteers.

When not busy with her duties at the station, Rose enjoys music, reading, gardening, mentoring high school students, exercise, and playing the piano.  She travels with her husband to California twice a year to spend time with lifelong friends and family.
