The 38th Season of the Melbourne Chamber Music Society

Melbourne Chamber Music Society
Melbourne Chamber Music Society

This season the Society will present six  rather than the traditional five concerts. Included in the series are the thirteen member New York Chamber Soloists, three string quartets, one with piano, a traditional piano trio and a violin and piano duo.

Some of the works to be performed on this season's series include the original chamber music version of Copland's Appalachian Spring, a Mozart Piano Concerto, the seldom heard Elgar Piano Quintet, and trios and quartets by Beethoven, Shostakovich, Brahms, Tchaikovsky and other major composers. Please see "Performances" for each individual program and remember that all programs are subject to change.

Performance Venue:
Our concerts are enjoyed in St. Marks United Methodist Church, Indialantic, FL. The church is an intimate setting with superb acoustics. Each concert is approximately two hours.
