The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people with Parkinson’s disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. In everything they do, they build on the energy, experience and passion of our global Parkinson's community.
Melbourne City Ballet Theatre is a not for profit organization inspired by the need for a full-time, year-round, performing company dedicated to bringing regular dance performances to Brevard's stages. The Board of Directors, along with Artistic Directors Artem Yachmennikov and Ekaterina Vaganova-Yachmennikova, share a vision to consistently provide projects, community outreach programs, and classical training that will bring ballet and the culture of dance arts to the center of life in our community.
Together with National Ballet Theatre of Odessa, Melbourne City Ballet Theatre present America’s favorite fairytale, The Sleeping Beauty, providing the opportunity to Brevard's dancers of all ages to share the stage with stars of ballet world and perform for the local audiences! This full-scale production, choreographed by renowned choreographer Marius Petipa, is based on the Brothers Grimm's enchanting fairytale, where love restores life.
