Music On A Sunday Afternoon At Cocoa Beach Public Library

The Cocoa Beach Public Library's Music On A Sunday Afternoon performances are underway. The Cocoa Beach Library has a proud tradition of fostering the arts and culture in Brevard. The library is particularly devoted to music. The Cocoa Beach librarians cultivate a broad and holistic collection of CDs, sheet music, and nonfiction books to keep curious music lovers satisfied. This commitment to bring culture to the community is exemplified by the Music on a Sunday Afternoon concert performances most Sundays, November through April. Performances take place at 2 p.m. and are completely free of charge.

This year’s lineup of concerts includes classical chamber music, sultry jazz, lively Celtic jigs, Spanish flamenco, Delta blues, pop standards, and much more.The Bluesman & The Jersey Girl will be playing pop hits and Piedmont blues on November 18. Sound Traveler will perform vocal and acoustic instrumental renditions of popular classics on December 2. Jazz ingénue Simone Kopmajer will be singing a distinctive mix of old classics and new favorites on December 9; and the First United Methodist Church of Cocoa’s Handbell Choir will ring in the holidays on December 16.

Music on a Sunday Afternoon is loved by artists and audiences alike.
