The Henegar Center, The Florida Smooth Jazz Foundation & The Brevard Jazz Series presents the 7th Annual Benefit for Brevard's Children. The fundraiser takes place Saturday, August 25th, at 8 p.m., and benefits The Haven for Children.

Eau Gallie Arts District's First Friday Art Walk goes to the dogs Friday, August 3rd when the district celebrates the Dog Days of Summer.  Local canines are invited to tag along with their human friends during this family friendly event. Local businesses will be providing water for the canine walkers.

Art lovers can enjoy a leisurely stroll while perusing the galleries, shops and displays from 5:30 till 8 p.m.  A free concert by The Bone Dogs takes place in the band shell and will set the mood.

The North Animal Care and Adoption Center in Titusville will celebrate the "Dog Days of Summer" with a special event on Saturday, July 28. Come on out from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and enjoy watery fun, games, food and prizes, and dog and cat adoptions.

Dog and cat adoptions will be at a special rate of $40, which includes spaying/neutering, rabies vaccinations, heartworm tests, initial vaccinations, flea treatment and county license tags.

The Dog Days of Summer event will be held at Stonefire Art Studio, 2500 South Washington Avenue, Titusville.
