Our Indian River Lagoon is one of the most biodiverse estuaries in the Northern Hemisphere and is home to more than 4,300 species of plants and animals. From the Brevard Indian River Lagoon Coalition, The Marine Resources Council, and the Indian River Lagoon Research Institute, many groups and organizations are working to restore the Lagoon to its former glory.

Every Thursday at 7:50 am and 5:50 pm, the Brevard Indian River Lagoon Coalition, The Indian River Lagoon Research Institute, and the Marine Resource Council share a Lagoon Minute focusing on one aspect of the Lagoon’s story.
