The Henegar Center, The Florida Smooth Jazz Foundation & The Brevard Jazz Series presents the 7th Annual Benefit for Brevard's Children. The fundraiser takes place Saturday, August 25th, at 8 p.m., and benefits The Haven for Children.
All-star national jazz group, the Jeff Lorber Fusion, featuring Jeff Lorber, Eric Marienthal, Jimmy Haslip & Gary Novak will perform. The benefit performance takes place at the Henegar Center for the Arts, located at 625 E. New Haven Avenue, Melbourne.
The Haven for Children is a shelter for abused, abandoned and neglected children from birth to age six. The Haven's goal is to nourish and protect the children in its care and guide them toward positive self-growth. Currently, The Haven has three homes that serve an average of ten children each.
