Florida Tech Faculty and Staff Profile Features Shannon Ferry

Shannon Ferry, Chief Flight Instructor, Aviation Flight Training at theFlorida Institute of Technology Aviation School, stopped by the WFIT studios to participate in a Florida Tech Faculty and Staff Profile. Shannon's been flying since the age of 12.  She arrived at the aviation school in 2004 to obtain her Flight Instructor Rating. As she worked on additional flight certifications, she started working part-time at the school. Take 4 minutes to listen to Shannon's story as she shares her passion for aviation.  The Women in Aviation International, Melbourne, Florida Chapter, is hosting a "Girls in Aviation Day 2015" event on Saturday, 26 September from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. This is an opportunity for both girls and boys who are interested in flying to obtain information on employment opportunities in the aviation career field.
