Melbourne's First National Drive Electric Week Event, Sept. 20

The Space Coast Electric Vehicle Drivers and the City of  Melbourne invite you to Melbourne's first National Drive Electric Week Event. The event takes place Saturday, September 20th from 10 am to 3 pm at Melbourne City Hall.

This event is one of over 100 events taking place across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico in celebration of National Drive Electric Week which runs from September 15th to the 21st. NDEW is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability as well as the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles. They are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles. Electric vehicles are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

Attendees can learn about the widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more from driver owners living and working in Brevard County, FL.

Whether you drive an electric vehicle, are looking to buy, or just want to learn more about them, this is the event for you. Learn how other Brevard county residents are shaving hundreds off their gas bills or eliminating them all together.

Attendees are encouraged to register here. Electric vehicle drivers can contact spacecoastevdrivers@gmail.com to be included in the event. For the most up-to-date event information, please visit the Space Coast Electric Vehicle Drivers website.
