We have a historical performance of the Brahms Double Concerto this week. Legendary performers Pablo Casals and Jacques Thibeault, who were already performing while Brahms was still around, joined forces to record Brahms's final work for full orchestra in 1929. It remains an exemplary performance with modern remastering to bring those 78s to life again.
