We're in the midst of the cycle of the six numbered Tchaikovsky symphonies, and this week brings us to Symphony No. 3, one of the seldom performed and infrequently recorded Tchaikovsky works. We'll hear it in a dramatic performance by Gennadi Rozhdestvensky conducting an orchestra of the Russian Ministry of Culture.
