We begin this week with Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, a Christmas Eve fantasy from Russia, then we'll hear holiday music and carols from around the world, including a major choral work by 20th-century composer Ernst Pepping, a setting of the Christmas Story according to Luke.

He began his association with WFIT in the late '90s as a dumpster diver for office furniture in response to a broadcast plea for a new chair from a frustrated disc jockey.
