Singer/songwriter MaddyWiner will be Dave Fries’ special guest tonight on A Taste of Jazz starting at 7pm.
Winer toured as a headliner in the stage show “North Carolina Is My Home,” written by and starring LoonixMcGlohon and Charles Kuralt, which NPR aired as a television special.
Performing contemporary selections from the Great American Songbook she has become known for her effortless interpretation of jazz styling and has developed a loyal following.
Ms. Winer has opened for Dave Brubeck, Lou Rawls, David Sanborn, Joe Sample, George Shearing, Al Jarreau, Ellis Marsalis and a host of others.
