Space Coast Veg Fest 2017 Nov 19th

Space Coast Veg Fest is a free community event designed to promote a plant-based lifestyle. The event is designed to be both entertaining and educational and will promote healthy eating, kindness to animals, and respect for our environment.

The third annual Space Coast Veg Fest will be held on Sunday November 19th in Cocoa’s Riverfront Park.  The event starts at 11.00 am and closes at 5 pm.  Admission is free !!   Last year an estimated 6,000 people came to the event.

The event is intended to be both entertaining and educational. Our objective is to heighten the awareness of all things vegan and plant based, and to promote the health advantages of a plant based diet, as well as emphasizing compassion for animals and care for the  environment.

Many of the vendors who participated in last year’s event have already committed to being present in 2017 and we’re looking forward to meeting many new participants who will join us in making this another successful and enjoyable day.

If you’d like to participate or help this year, or even if you just have ideas or suggestions email pr@healthyplanetofbrevard.com

Born in Hartford, CT George was surrounded by music from the get go. His dad, being a high school band director by day and professional jazz pianist by night, would bring home instruments for George to explore. By the time he was a high school student, George was often called upon to fill in sections of the band on different instruments. The drums were definitely George’s calling and at the age of nine he joined one of the many ‘fife & drum’ corps popular in the North East. Through his teen years George played with many a band in the local Connecticut Club scene.
