Florida Tech Faculty and Staff Profile is a Program where Florida Tech Faculty and Staff have an Opportunity to Talk About Themselves, Their Accomplishments, Their Contributions to Florida Tech, and any New / Current Project Information They Wish to Share with our Listeners. The Pre-Recorded Program will Air on Mondays at 7:45 AM, during NPR's Morning Edition and at 5:45 PM during All Things Considered.  The Show Host is Florida Tech's Global Strategic Communication Graduate Student, EJ Castor.

Florida Tech Faculty

Dr. Andy Stanfield is the Assistant Vice President for Assessment, Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation, as well an an Adjunct Professor in the Humanities Department.  Prior to arriving at Florida Tech, he pursued a Doctoral Degree in Instructional Design and Development and upon graduation, he eventually made his way to our Florida Tech campus (via South Dakota).  Dr. Stanfield's true passion is his music.

Dr. Jacob Ivey

Dr. Jacob Ivey is a visiting Assistant Professor of History in the School of Arts and Communication.  He is at Florida Tech for one year to teach courses in Western Civilization and in the Spring 2016 semester will teach a course on Modern Africa.  Dr. Ivey's interest is in British Imperial history in Africa.  In his childhood, he was influenced by the events occurring in Africa, particularly Nelson Mandela and the rise of democracy in South Africa.


Liz Fox

Liz Fox is the Curriculum and Catalog Manager at Florida Tech.  She is responsible for producing the yearly university catalog; maintaining curriculum and course information; and maintaining academic policies and procedures information for the university.  Liz is also responsible for managing the registrar website.  You'll find Liz at at the foot of the stairs at both the Spring and Winter commencement ceremonies as she compiles the commencement program and manages the graduation candidate list.

Florida Tech Faculty Profile

Coach Billy Mims has been coaching basketball stateside and overseas for 34 years.  He’s been a basketball coach at Florida Tech for over 10 years.  He loves coaching and loves the opportunity to mentor Florida Tech basketball players.  He considers himself to be one of those lucky people who has had the ability and privilege to have a job where he has loved doing what he does every single day.  Coach Mims invites everyone to attend a Florida Tech basketball game and come out and support our Panthers!
