Anyone Can Get HIV

FACT. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) estimates 1.1 million people age 13 and older are infected with HIV, and 50,000 people are newly infected each year. Anyone can be infected with HIV. In 2010, men who have sex with men accounted for 63% of new infections, and women accounted for 20% of new infections.
