Mozart's Attic - Sunday, March 8th at 6:00 pm

The Carnival of the Animals is usually presented these days as an entertainment for children, complete with narration, the same idea as Peter and the Wolf.

But Camille Saint-Saens didn’t write it for children. He wrote it to amuse his friends with parody, sarcasm, and just plain farce.

We’ll hear the Carnival of the animals this Sunday — without narration.

Originally from central Massachusetts, Jay has called the Space Coast home for more than 30 years. He began his association with WFIT in the late '90s as a dumpster diver for office furniture in response to a broadcast plea for a new chair from a frustrated disc jockey. (WFIT has come a long way since.)
