We have a special live performance recording of the Verdi Requiem this week.

Vedri, of course, was first and foremost an opera composer. One would expect his Requiem to be dramatic, and Verdi does not disappoint.

He began his association with WFIT in the late '90s as a dumpster diver for office furniture in response to a broadcast plea for a new chair from a frustrated disc jockey.
