At the Olympics in Tokyo, Melbourne Beach surfer Caroline Marks won her heat in the first round event on Sunday. Monday Marks outsurfed Mahina Maeda of Japan in round three, with over double the score. Caroline is now on to the quarterfinals in the Olympics surf contest. She’ll take on Brisa Hennessy of Costa Rica Tuesday in Japan.
