Generally acclaimed as the greatest writer in the English language, William Shakespeare has fired the imaginations of many composers -- so many that we can only scratch the surface of musical works inspired by the Bard of Avon in a single program.

But scratch it we shall this Sunday with a multi-national look at scenes from Shakespeare in music, as interpreted by six different composers. Hearken thee at six o’clock.

Originally from central Massachusetts, Jay has called the Space Coast home for more than 30 years. He began his association with WFIT in the late '90s as a dumpster diver for office furniture in response to a broadcast plea for a new chair from a frustrated disc jockey.
