In its 14th year, the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival continues to be a fun metropolitan venue for some of today's most inventive filmmakers. The Festival takes place Friday and Saturday, September 28 and 29th at Premier Theatre Oaks Stadium 10, 1500 W. Hibiscus Blvd., Melbourne.
Forty plus films will be shown, including five features (four made in Florida), two animations, seven documentaries, The Year of the Dragon entries and thirty-four Florida films.
Real Food Real Kitchens, the national PBS series that focuses on Family, Food, Culture and History will be screening three never before seen episodes to open the Festival with all proceeds going to support The Children's Hunger Project.
