The “Sam Jam” is coming to Brevard on Sunday, August 25 and WFIT, 89.5 FM is proud to be among the event's many sponsors.
The 6th Annual Samuel D. Gorman Memorial Jam to Benefit Brevard Music Aid will be held at Pineda Inn Bar and Grill, 6533 South Highway US 1, Rockledge. The event will feature some of the area's finest bands, entertainers, raffles and prizes from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m.
The event has some changes this year including parking availability at the Florida Today (Gannett Building) parking lot, with a shuttle service provided. The Pineda Inn's parking lot will be fenced off and tents with tables and chairs will be provided for the comfort of those attending. Motorcycle parking will be available in front of the Pineda Inn. There is a $5 donation which goes directly to Brevard Music Aid and provides attendees with numbered wrist bracelets at point of entry.
Brevard Music Aid is a fund that helps musicians and music professionals who are experiencing an emergency or catastrophic circumstances. The Sam Jam is held in honor of Samuel D.
