As the lead singer of the definitive female rock band of the 1980s, Belinda Carlisle and the Go-Go's became the first girl group to top the US charts and opened the door for female musicians throughout the rock world. When the band disbanded, Carlisle release her first solo Belinda which was followed by Mad About You, Heaven on Earth, Runaway Horses and more. As a solo artist, she created infectious pop songs, penetrating top-forty charts here and abroad. She reached enormous international fame with such hits as Heaven is a Place on Earth, I Get Weak, Circle in the Sand, Leave a Light On and Summer Rain, topping the charts not only in the U.S. but also in the U.K. Make your plans to see her in her first concert on the King Center stage!
