Joe Panarello (Dr. D)
Host of Doo Wop, Soul, & Rock 'n' RollJoe Panarello (Dr. D), has been "Playing The Sounds That Make Your Heart Pound With The Beat That Moves Your Feet" for over three decades. Starting out on a small AM station in the 70's near Harrisburg PA. while in college, Joe went on to non-commercial powerhouse station WBAI FM in NYC, doing an afternoon show and engineering for specialty shows.
Joe also worked as a recording engineer at the Brill Building's (NYC) studio. He recorded songs for Del Vikings, Garry Lewis & Playboys, Eddie Day and The NightTimers, and more. Later, Joe went on to pursue a career in electronics and computer programming.
An avid record collector for way too long, he is still searching for the elusive rare 45.
