Learn Operate Your Own 3D Printer! 

The course includes:

An Overview - 3D printers and their growing use in technology and the Maker Movement.Comparing the types of 3D printers - advantages & disadvantages.Software, a comparative study and instruction of open source options.  SolidWorks Student SoftwareYour own 3D printer & Solidworks Software.

Every student should leave with: A solid understanding of the uses of 3D printing in technology.  A complete understanding 3D printing software and mechanics. A brand new well build commercial quality 3D printer.  A new android tablet to drive it.  The confidence, satisfaction, and knowledge gained in building their new 3D printer.  More info

3D Printer Camp

During the one week session, students learn what 3D printers are, how they work and how they are built, programmed and operated. Students design a printable object, print it out on the machine they build and take both the object and the new 3D printer home.

Prototyping Camp

This camp teaches students how to use their own 3D Printer, Co2 CNC Laser cutter/engraver, & Desktop Mill. During the one week session, students learn basic safety and operation, and how these machines can be used to produce engineering prototypes, cut custom control panels, and engrave glass, acrylics, wood, leather and more!
