The Truth About Florida's Constitutional AmendmentsFeaturedWritten by  Team SCPA

Twelve proposed Florida Constitutional Amendments are on the General Election ballot November 6th. These ballot measures include issues such as oil drilling along the FL coast, the restoration of felon voting rights, outlawing dog racing and a proposal to require a 2/3 vote of the Legislature to approve new or increased taxes or fees rather than a simple majority.

Join us for a non-partisan review - sponsored by the Space Coast Progressive Alliance and led by the Space Coast League of Women Voters, The Brevard Chapter of the ACLU and "Vote YES on 13".

It is our civic duty and responsibility to educate ourselves on the proposed amendments. Become informed before you vote and remember that every election is determined by the people who show up!
