WFIT's New Release Playlist for November

We finally got some "Fall" weather on the Space Coast in November, and we got some great new music.

On his third long-player, British singer/songwriter Michael Kiwanuka comes into his own in a collection of bracing, affirmative, psychedelic soul tunes.  Omni's third album, and first for Sub Pop, is tighter, more focused, and more melodic.  Lucy Dacus gave us a holiday-themed set of four covers and three originals.  Juliana Hattfield continued her covers series with a clever, inspired reimagining of the Police catalog that emphasizes their punk and new wave roots. Beck's Hyperspace is a sleek, synthesized collaboration with Pharrell Williams that's surprisingly introspective. And we got new singles from Zeddemore, Hot Snakes, Twin Peaks and The Drive-By Truckers.

Here's WFIT's Favorite New Release Playlist for November.
