The View From Inside the Spacesuit-Author Jay Barbree Visits FL Tech

Jay Barbree, NBC Space Correspondent and Author to Speak at FL Tech August 22nd.  Barbree will be discussing his latest book Neil Armstrong's Life of Flight.  The book which celebrates the 45th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, delves into Armstrong's personal life and experiences in space.

The Lifelong Scholar Society hosts this special presentation featuring Jay Barbree on Friday August 22nd  on the FL Tech campus.  The event will include an introduction by Captain Winston Scott. 

  • 6:00 - 6:45 PM: Reception & book signing by Jay Barbree on the 2nd floor of the Denius Student Center
  • Followed by a plated dinner in the Hartley Room
  • 8:00 PM: Captain Winston Scott to introduce Jay Barbree.
