The health and prosperity of this delicate ecosystem is threatened by excessive pollution, harmful muck accumulation, and loss of natural filtration systems. Local restoration depends on local action, taking responsibility for local sources of pollution and implementing solutions locally.

The plan is designed to use science and data to achieve regulatory compliance cost-effectively; to maximize benefits, minimize risks and optimize return on investment while fostering innovation and adaptation. The proposed sales tax would fund the plan to restore our lagoon.
