Club Esteem Breaks the Cycle of Poverty

Club Esteem provides free after-school and summer programming Monday through Friday from 2:30-6:30 PM, to students in grades 1st-12th living in economically disadvantaged communities.  

Club Esteem offers quality programs that develop academic and social skills in a safe, caring, and structured environment.

OUR MISSION

Club Esteem’s mission is to inspire youth from economically disadvantaged communities to embrace the highest standards of academic and personal excellence—instilling in each child a desire to learn, to serve, and to accept challenges. 

 

OUR VISION

Our goal is to create opportunities that help children and teens break free from the cycle of poverty and develop into healthy, productive and vision-driven adults. We believe that all children deserve equal opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of the economic circumstances. Club Esteem is committed to helping children and their families obtain real lasting success and create meaningful change in their community.

 

Club Esteem is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization offering free after-school and summer programs Monday through Friday from 2:30-6:30 PM to economically disadvantaged children in grades 1 st through 12 th living in Melbourne and Palm Bay who are or may become at­ risk of school failure due to socio­economic factors, family history, and lack of educational support and resources.   We provide children and teens with the tools, resources and support needed to achieve academic and personal excellence.  

Our programs are designed to:

  • improve students' academic achievement
  • Improve students' behavioral and social functioning
  • Increase readiness for post-high school education, training and employment

 
Club Esteem provides a safe, caring and structured environment for children and teens to learn, grow and reach their full potential. Our services include: college readiness, career exploration, STEM learning, character education, performing arts, homework assistance, tutoring, daily nutritious meals, parenting workshops and more.  Additionally, our students participate in meaningful community service learning projects, educational field trips and college tours.
