Leonard Bernstein presented Mass, his greatest work, at the gala opening of the Kennedy Center in Washington DC amidst the turmoil of 1971 America.

Controversial? It goes without saying.

We've now had more than a half century to assess Mass, and with Lenny in the public eye these days thanks to Hollywood, we'll take the opportunity to re-hear it this Sunday.

Originally from central Massachusetts, Jay has called the Space Coast home for more than 30 years.
