Sound Waves' Top 30 for 2011 (Published in Dec. 2011)

The year 2011 had some truly exceptional new releases. From the mournful sounds of The Head And The Heart and Bon Iver to the far reaching music of Wilco and Radiohead.

The year also included the return of garage power pop songs of Cult, Foster the People and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart. Some veterans had some of the best albums of their career with Tom Waits and Ry Cooder. All in all, a pretty good year for music. I hope you had as much fun listening as we did playing them for you.
