Casey Turner Live In Studio Podcast & Video

If you missed our broadcast of our Live In Studio Session with Casey Turner, you can hear the podcast here:

Casey will be the opening act for Matt & Kim at Florida Tech's Homecoming Party in Downtown Melbourne.

Guitarist, singer, songwriter Casey Turner has a distinct sound that now glides on a mellow vibe. Originally from the East Coast he spent his earlier years sheltered from the winters under the warm rays of the sunshine state where he studied engineering, surfed, and formed the punk rock trio Liquid Image. Upon graduating from Florida Institute of Technology, Casey hired on at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in the main propulsion systems group where he groomed his expertise in rocket science by day and punk rock music by night. The next few years proved rewarding with east coast summer tours as the groups music was charted on CMJ college radio and featured in dozens of surf, skate, snowboard, action sports videos and television. Playing premier venues and scoring epic hurricane season swells along the way, Liquid Image carved its own niche in the east coast surf community and music scene.

Fresh off his Hawaiian Islands Tour supporting radio play of his single "Never Want To Go Home", Casey is now back jammin on the mainland. His new songs have been added into rotation on over 60 fm stations in Hawaii, FL, CA, Australia, Guam, Philippines, Korea, France, and Japan with more adds to come for 2013. Recently Casey was hired by The Kona Brewing Co. to play the Liquid Aloha Music Festival where he performed for a 2000 person audience opening for the Expendables.

Originally from Boston, Todd Kennedy began volunteering at WFIT 89.5 FM in 1992 as a late night jazz DJ. In 1998 he was hired as Director of Operations and in 2004 he became Program Director until his retirement in 2022.
