Jazz Guitarist Tom Hueston will be a special guest on A Taste of Jazz this Monday, April 28, 2014. Tom is a teacher and very special performer. He was Matt Heister's first guitar teacher and also helped launch the career of Jeff McLaughlin.
Tom is one of only a handful of people in the world who can play bass pedals as the same time he plays guitar! This blend of two instruments in this way will bring a unique sound to his performance.
We will talk about his teaching techniques, the physics of playing two instruments at the same time, one with his hands and the other with his feet, and listen to some tracks he has recorded with other local musicians.
