The Studios of Cocoa Beach is again offering the popular Introduction to Stained Glass Class. Jamille Haddad will guide you through the entire process of creating a beautiful stained glass piece. The Class meets from 6 to 9 pm on three Tuesdays, January 16, 23, and 30, 2024

The first week will focus on glass-cutting techniques, choosing your design and selecting colors. Week two will involve cutting the glass for your project, and an introduction to copper foil techniques. During the third week, students will finish cutting and foiling their projects, and prepare for soldering.

Jamille Haddad has been designing and producing Stained Glass and Fused Glass Art in the Central Florida area for over 40 years. "My work is more spiritual than political and usually has themes based on my feelings of spirituality. I strive for beautiful craftsmanship while pushing the material to its limits and create Art to enhance living and working environments"

Fee for the 3 session class is $150 plus an additional $75 material fee due the first day of class. All necessary equipment will be provided. The Studios’ workshop room is behind the gallery at 165 Minutemen Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach. Their gallery is open Monday 9 am to 2 pm, Tuesday to Saturday 9 am to 7 pm and Sundays 1 to 6 pm.
