March is National Women's History Month. The public is invited to Women's Progress Night, a 1st Thursday program hosted by the Space Coast Progressive Alliance.
The event takes place at 6:30 pm Thursday, March 5 at the Front Street Civic Center, 2205 Front Street, Melbourne FL 32901.
We will hear from four women who are making a difference on many fronts including job discrimination; equal pay; political and economic equality; abortion rights; reproductive freedom and other women’s health issues; opposing racism; fighting bigotry against the LGBTQIA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, and asexual) community; access to education; and ending violence against women.
The four guest speakers will be followed by a question and answer session from the audience.
