The Marine Resources Council's Lagoon Fest 2015, Saturday, March 7th

The Marine Resources Council invites you to Lagoon Fest 2015 -Party with Purpose!  Lagoon Fest 2015 takes place at the Ted Moorhead Lagoon House, Palm Bay from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Help save the Indian River Lagoon, once our state’s largest fishery, while enjoying the positive vibrations of Pato Banton and the Now Generation, Austin Jenckes of NBC’s The Voice with Kyle Cook of Matchbox 20, Bill (the Sauce Boss) Wharton, The Lights Out Project, Coastal Breed, Inna Sense, and much more!

The goal is to raise $75,000 to start the “State of Indian River Lagoon” Report Card to update the community on key measures of lagoon health. During the Lagoon Action Assembly that Marine Resources Council coordinated in May, nearly 100 community leaders agreed that a report similar to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Report Card would help keep restoration efforts on course. The report needs to be funded by the community to keep it updated and honest.

Ticket purchase, sponsorship information and more can be found at Save the Indian River Lagoon's website or by calling Beth McMillen at 321-725-7775.
