Earth Day is Wednesday, April 22nd and The Barrier Island Center, Melbourne Beach is celebrating with two special events. Mangrove Potting for shoreline restoration begins at 5:30 pm. At 7 pm, a Coastal Lighting Workshop will explain how to keep coastal lighting “sea turtle friendly.” Every day is Earth Day at The Barrier Island Center.
