Strap on your jingle bells and head to the Zoo for a flurry of festive fun! During the first few days of winter break (December 19-22), you’ll have the chance to enjoy a blizzard of activities including animal encounters, games, crafts and a DJ! Best of all, our keepers will be presenting some of our animals with holiday “gifts” and other seasonal enrichment items (be sure to check the schedule posted at the entrance each day).
Have you been naughty or nice? Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Zoo from 9-11 am on Dec. 19 and 12:30-2:30 pm on Dec. 20 & 21.
Need some alone time to prepare for the holidays? Treat your little ones to three-day winter camps (December 21-23, 28-30), a family night hike (December 5), a kids-only New Year’s Eve overnight (December 31) and Jr. Zookeeper Club programs!
Finally, count down to 2016 early with a juice toast at the Paws on Stage during our Noon Year’s Eve celebration, running from 11 am – 1 pm on December 31.
All activities other than educational programs are included with Zoo admission.
