See Live Music At Home

Concerts and events around the world have been canceled in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. As people are being asked to “shelter in place,” many artist are providing special “house concerts” to help us get through this extraordinary time. Right now many artists are hosting live events on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other social media.

To pass the time indoors, WFIT recommends checking out some of these live concerts from the comfort of your living room.

Chris Martin of Coldplay posted a 20 minute set, taking questions as well. John Legend hosted a live stream as well. We’ll let you know as more artists host live events.

Wilco just posted an 8 song set from a vintage basketball court recorded last December (before social distancing was the norm.)

Tiny Desk Concerts from NPR are always entertaining. See the latest.

Also from NPR, see live concerts from Brandi Carlile, Graham Nash, Jason Isbell and more.

For local music, see WFIT’s Sound Waves Sessions with Zeddemore, The Spring, Lights Out Project, Beebs & The Moneymakers and others.

While we can’t go see concerts, at least we can still rock out with live music from the safety of our computers and tablets.

Do you have an event or concert to share? Let us know! Stay safe all.
