2nd Annual Charlie Corbeil Conservation Awards Banquet, April 9

The Second Annual Charlie Corbeil Conservation Awards Banquet takes place Thursday, April 9th from 6 pm - 9 pm at the Heritage Isle Ballroom, Viera.

Vince Lamb, environmental activist and co-founder of Preserve Brevard,  is co-hosting the event with the Viera Voice. Keynote speaker is renowned Florida springs conservationist Rick Kilby, author of "Finding the Fountain of Youth: Ponce de Leon and Florida's Magical Waters."

The Charlie Corbeil Conservation Awards is a non-profit annual event that awards Space Coast individuals for their exemplary contributions to conservation.

A Brevard Wildlife-themed Youth Art, Photography and Writing Contest is being held in conjunction with the event to help raise awareness of wildlife/habitat protection. Entries are being accepted until 5 pm, Friday, April 3rd. Top submissions will be displayed at the Awards Banquet.
