Marine Resources Council’s 2nd Annual Midsummer’s Night Fundraiser “A Legacy of Art & Science” “All the world’s a stage,” and we all have a role to play in restoring our precious Indian River Lagoon. Participate in MRC’s second Midsummer’s Night fundraiser event at the Lagoon House on August 2, 2014, which will be a tribute to the art and science of the Indian River Lagoon. Guests will enjoy a stroll along the river as a local Pianist plays. Friends will meet while tasting the flavors of our local fisheries and partake of fine wine and conversation about the Indian River Lagoon Legacy. Be one of the sponsors of this annual event where guests will be engaged in a night of leisure, fine food, art, music, and science. Funds raised by the event will support MRC’s new initiatives to engage stakeholders in protecting and restoring the Indian River Lagoon that include the Lagoon LifeSavers volunteer training academy and Lagoon Action Assembly consensus building workshops. Sponsors will receive special recognition. Seeking a Production Team! Can you help produce this fine event with a donation to cover the cost of catering? Set the stage with your contribution of goods or services! Want to promote your business, salon, restaurant, or eco‐tourism operation? Help us help the Lagoon by donating a gift certificate, service, or product to our silent auction. Seeking donations of art and jewelry! Have design talent? Create a rain barrel or ecological artwork to be auctioned at the event to benefit MRCs Lagoon LifeSavers Academy. Cast call! Be one of the cast volunteering at the event or on the event planning committee!!
