FITS-STEM Scholarship
Success is the driving force behind FL Tech's FITS-STEM Scholarship program. From tutoring and mentorship to hands on projects, scholarship recipients have resources to help them graduate and find jobs in their field.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded Florida Tech a grant to provide scholarship opportunities, termed as FITS-STEM (Florida Institute of Technology scholarships in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math) scholarships, to students who transfer from community or state colleges into the programs of civil, chemicalor ocean engineering. The objective of the scholarships is to help address the growing need for engineers in these specific disciplines. Transfer students will be educated by expert faculty, will have the opportunity to participate in leading sustainability related research, receive specialized mentoring and receive hands-on career advisement and support.
