Foosaner Museum Family Day September 17th
The Foosaner Art Museum invites kids, parents, and friends to celebrate the exhibition Harak Rubio: Symbols and Guardians on Family Day. Bring the whole family to participate in hands-on art activities in pottery and painting, a family-friendly gallery tour with artist Harak Rubio, and a bilingual storytime read in Spanish and English. Artful activities are designed and led by Renee Foosaner Education Center faculty, including Nancy Trezza, Tim Jarvis and Heather Everett, with special guest Harak Rubio. Activities take place at both the Foosaner Art Museum (1463 Highland Ave.) and the Renee Foosaner Education Center (1520 Highland Ave.).
Family Days take place on select Saturdays from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. All activities are free and open to all ages! Most activities are geared towards young artists ages 4-16.
