Saturday August 19th at 7:30 pm the Henegar Center for the Arts kicks off its Jazz Legends Series.
Pam Harbaugh who Directed Lady Day @ The Henegar will give a jazz prologue and introduce the distinguished jazz musicians, beginning with the Lady Day Ensemble featuring the Jarred Armstrong Quartet and the incomparable vocalist Kristen Warren. Per and Tami Danielson who have performed throughout the world in notable clubs and festivals will appear after intermission along with jazz trumpeter Winston Scott who as distinguished musician and notable NASA astronaut has also performed in outer space missions (STS-72 and 87).
