Giving Tuesday November 27th - A Global Giving Movement

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.  This annual Day of Giving  kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

One of the best ways to get involved is by helping non-profits in your local community. It’s a simple idea. Find a way to give back and then share your idea on social media.

The Space Coast has so many worthy non-profits assisting in almost every aspect of the lives of our community members. WFIT is especially aware of the great resources these organizations provide, because we create Public Service Announcements, and Coastal Connection Interviews about them, which are aired throughout the year.

No matter which group you choose to donate to, WFIT thanks you for caring about our community. You can truly make a difference in someone's life.

It's a chance for "Panthers" from all over the world to support their university. The goal is to secure participation by obtaining gifts of all sizes from as many Florida Tech alumni as possible during this 24-hour time period.

The goal this year is 1,958 donors to commemorate Florida Tech’s founding 60 years ago, on Sept. 22nd, 1958. (Take a quick tour of Florida Tech’s early days in this Day of Giving video.)
