WFIT Sound Waves Special Sessions July 4 & 5th

Join us on July 4 for a special encore session with retro- soul band The Savants of Souls. The band had the crowd grooving at our annual Sonic Waves Music Festival. We got the full 9 piece band in the studio for a soulful performance. You can see videos of our session on our web site wfit.org. Tune in to our 4th of July party at noontime to hear The Savants Of Soul on WFIT 89.5 FM.

WFIT has a treat for our next Sound Waves studio session, a power trio of exceptional musicians. They are known as Local 518 featuring David Pastorius on bass, Al Brodeur on guitar and Alex Petrosky on drums. Hear the band tear through a set and David talks about the influence of his uncle, jazz legend Jaco Pastorius. Check out a video of our session with Local 518 at wfit.org.
