Protecting Our Sacred Waters Seminar Hosted by Marine Resources Council
The seminar will examine the science as well as the spiritual value of water, with practical suggestions on how we can heal and care for our local waterways, acting locally for impact globally.
Jake Zehnder- Restoration Field Manager with Brevard Zoo’s Restore Our Shores Program: Jake will be speaking about the current state of the IRL estuary and give an update on projects supported by Brevard County's Save Our Indian River Lagoon Plan.
Kate Zehnder- Volunteer and Membership Coordinator with Marine Resources: Kate will be speaking about the negative impact of plastic pollution and how living sustainably can have a positive impact on the environment around you.
After each speaker, there will be time for questions and answers followed by small group discussions, music, and snacks.
This is a free, family, friendly, educational event, open to the public.

This event is sponsored by The Interfaith Affiliations of Brevard group, a community of over 200 local Bahai, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, other faiths, and those of no faith, who recognize environmental stewardship as a moral responsibility and one of its missions.
